What is in the Longevity+ Full Stack?

What does each supplement do?

Within this stack, creatine, vitamin D, vitamin K and magnesium have authorised health claims in the UK, so these are described here by outcome. The others are described by what they are and what the research has looked at, without promising results.

Micronised Creatine. Creatine increases physical performance in successive bursts of short-term, high-intensity exercise. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 3 g of creatine. Each NovusDNA serving is 5 g of creatine monohydrate.

Essential+. Vitamin D and vitamin K contribute to the maintenance of normal bones. Magnesium and vitamin D contribute to normal muscle function, and magnesium contributes to normal psychological function and normal energy-yielding metabolism. The NHS advises that everyone should consider a daily vitamin D supplement in autumn and winter.

Longevity+. Nicotinamide riboside (NR) is a form of vitamin B3 that the body can use to make NAD+, a molecule involved in how cells handle energy. TMG (trimethylglycine, also called betaine) is a compound found in foods such as wheat bran, wheat germ and spinach, and a 2018 review in Foods describes it as a donor of methyl groups for many biochemical processes. Pterostilbene is a plant compound related to resveratrol, and piperine is a compound from black pepper. Metabolic+. Berberine is a compound found in several plants, and milk thistle is a flowering plant whose extract contains silymarin. The US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (NCCIH) continues to follow human research on milk thistle and berberine, and Metabolic+ brings the two together in one capsule with a Campden BRI testing summary on the product page.

Lion's Mane. Lion's Mane is an edible mushroom. NovusDNA uses a 20:1 dual extract made only from the fruiting body, rather than mycelium grown on grain. Lion's Mane is the subject of growing human research, and the fruiting body extract keeps the label clear about exactly what is in each capsule.

Hydrolysed Collagen. Collagen is the most abundant structural protein in the human body and is naturally present in connective tissues including skin, tendons, ligaments and bone. Hydrolysed collagen is broken into smaller peptides so it mixes into drinks and food. Each 10 g serving provides about 9.4 g of collagen, as measured by Campden BRI.

Where the evidence for longevity ingredients stands

Vitamins, minerals and creatine have the most established evidence, which is why they carry authorised claims. NR, pterostilbene, TMG and the other longevity ingredients are newer to human research and are an active area of study.

A 2023 review in Science Advances found that oral NR reliably raises NAD+ in blood, and pointed to longer human trials as the next step. For pterostilbene, a 2013 randomised, placebo-controlled trial in 80 adults with high cholesterol over six to eight weeks reported no significant adverse effects at up to 250 mg a day, well above the 75 mg in each Longevity+ capsule.

How is the Full Stack tested?

NovusDNA products are independently tested by Campden BRI, UKAS Accredited Testing Laboratory No. 1079, with testing summaries published on the product pages. Full certificates, including methods and accreditation scope, are available on request from info@novusdna.com.

Some of the published results for products in this stack:

• Essential+: vitamin D3, vitamin K2 and magnesium measured in the product, with Salmonella not detected in 25 g and yeast and mould each below 10 cfu/g (tested September to October 2025).

• Lion's Mane: Listeria, Salmonella and Shiga toxin-producing E. coli not detected; lead 0.043 mg/kg, cadmium 0.059 mg/kg, arsenic 0.12 mg/kg and mercury below 0.005 mg/kg.

• Micronised Creatine: Salmonella not detected; arsenic, lead and mercury each below 0.005 mg/kg and cadmium below 0.001 mg/kg.

• Hydrolysed Collagen: 94.4 g collagen and 11.80 g hydroxyproline per 100 g, plus heavy metal and microbiology screening.

Who should not use the Full Stack without advice?

Speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting this stack if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking any prescribed medicine or managing a health condition. Two ingredients make this especially important.

Berberine (in Metabolic+). NCCIH advises against berberine during pregnancy and breastfeeding, notes that it can cause or worsen jaundice in newborns, and warns that it might interact with medicines. Its most common side effects are digestive, including abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhoea and nausea.

Vitamin K2 (in Essential+). Vitamin K is needed for blood clotting, which matters if you take warfarin or another vitamin K antagonist. NHS anticoagulation guidance from Cambridge University Hospitals says supplements containing vitamin K are acceptable only when discussed with your healthcare professional, and should not be taken irregularly.

Milk thistle can cause allergic reactions in people sensitive to related plants such as ragweed or daisy, and NCCIH says little is known about its safety in pregnancy.

Full Stack, Foundation Stack or Longevity+ on its own?

Choose the Full Stack if you want all six products in one routine. Choose the Foundation Stack if you want the core three capsules without powders, or Longevity+ alone if your interest is mainly NR.

How do you build the daily routine?

Most of the routine fits into one sitting: four capsules and two powders mixed into a drink. Taking it at the same time each day makes it easier to keep up.

1. Longevity+: take 1 capsule a day.

2. Essential+, Metabolic+ and Lion's Mane: take as directed on each label.

3. Creatine: mix a 5 g serving into water or another drink.

4. Collagen: add 10 g to water, coffee, a smoothie, a shake or food.

FAQ

Is the Longevity+ Full Stack the same as buying the six products separately?

Yes, the Full Stack contains the same six NovusDNA products you could buy individually: Longevity+, Essential+, Metabolic+, Lion's Mane, Micronised Creatine and Hydrolysed Collagen. The difference is convenience, because the whole routine arrives in one order.

Buying the stack also means one delivery and one place to check each product's testing summary. It also means the whole routine starts on the same day, with every product arriving together.

Can I take the Full Stack if I am vegan?

Not as a whole, because Hydrolysed Collagen is made from bovine collagen peptides. Longevity+ and Essential+ are vegan, and the Foundation Stack contains no collagen. If you follow a vegan diet, the Foundation Stack or Longevity+ on its own is the closer fit.

For the other products, check each label or ask the NovusDNA team before buying them individually. The Structural Longevity Stack also includes collagen, so it is not a vegan option either.

Does the Full Stack contain stimulants?

Longevity+ and Lion's Mane are both described as non-stimulant, and the six products are not sold as stimulant or energy products. Caffeine is not a listed ingredient in any of them. If you are sensitive to particular ingredients, read each product label and speak to a pharmacist before starting the full routine.

Piperine in Longevity+ is a compound from black pepper, not a stimulant. Starting with one or two products and adding the rest over a week or two can make it easier to notice how you get on with each one.

Can I return the stack if I change my mind?
