Nicotinamide riboside (NR-CL)
Nicotinamide riboside is a form of vitamin B3 and a recognised dietary precursor within the NAD⁺ biosynthesis pathway. Following ingestion, NR is converted into nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and subsequently into nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD⁺), a coenzyme naturally present in all living cells and essential for normal cellular energy metabolism and enzymatic function.
The formulation of Longevity+ reflects current nutritional research exploring how NR utilisation and handling within the body can be supported as part of normal metabolic pathways. The inclusion of complementary ingredients is intended to support the body’s natural processing of NR through the NR → NMN → NAD⁺ pathway.
Pterostilbene
Pterostilbene is a naturally occurring polyphenol structurally related to resveratrol and found in small amounts in foods such as blueberries. It has been studied for its antioxidant properties and its interaction with cellular stress-response pathways, and is commonly included in cellular-focused nutritional formulations.
Trimethylglycine (TMG)
TMG, also known as betaine, is a naturally occurring compound involved in normal methylation processes and is included to support balanced methyl donor availability as part of normal cellular metabolism.
Piperine
Piperine is a bioactive compound derived from black pepper and is commonly included in food supplement formulations to support ingredient utilisation.
